Gently rolling hills, river valleys, and forest land characterize Randolph County's 790 square miles. It is the 11th largest county in North Carolina and has the 19th highest population in the state. Tax Department - Beginning Monday, July 20th

Our office is open with safety procedures in place. Social distancing and temperatures checks will be required for access into the building. Masks are strongly recommended. Contact-free options: • Mail your payment with the self-addressed envelope provided. • Drop off your payment in the DROP BOX conveniently located outside our building’s front door at 725 McDowell Road. • Pay online or by phone (instructions on tax bill). PLEASE be advised Official Payments does charge a convenience fee for their service.
