Convenience Sites

Randolph County Public Works mission is to protect our environment by providing convenient disposal facilities throughout the County in addition to the existing transfer station at the Solid Waste Facility and to manage and handle the solid waste and recyclables at these locations.

This service area operates the 4 convenience centers that collect solid waste from the citizens of the County, as well as provides recycling opportunities.  We are proposing to add other sites over the next couple of years.  This would provide a "manned" convenience site in each quadrant of the County, thus allowing additional opportunities to educate individuals more frequently.  The environment and pollution are of global concern and affects the quality of life for each and every one of us in the County.  We hope to locate a new site in the Trinity/Archdale area.
