The "Randolph County Detention Center Currently Confined Inmates" list is operated by
the Randolph County Sheriff's Office for the benefit of the citizens of
Randolph County, and the State of North Carolina.
It's intended use is to provide citizens the opportunity to identify current
detention center inmates, and determine their bail amount and associated booking information.
All information provided by this service is considered public information
as defined by North Carolina State Law.
While every effort is made to ensure that the posted information is accurate,
it may contain factual or other errors. Inmate information changes quickly
and the posted data may not reflect the current information. The inmate
data is scheduled to be automatically updated four times per day.
This service provides information associated with the booking of an individual
into the Randolph County Jail, and not with any court cause, case, or criminal
filing pursuant to the booking event.
This information does not reflect the criminal history or criminal status
of any inmate currently or previously in custody.
A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Users (authorized and unauthorized) have no explicit or implicit expectation
of privacy. Any and all uses of this system may be intercepted, monitored,
recorded, copied, audited, inspected, and disclosed to authorized site and
law enforcement personnel, as well as authorized officials of other agencies,
both domestic and foreign.

PREA Standard §115.22
It is the policy of the
Randolph County Sheriff’s Office to maintain a zero-tolerance for
inmate-on-inmate sexual assault, staff sexual abuse, sexual
misconduct, and/or sexual harassment toward any inmate. Immediate
action shall be taken to protect inmates who are reasonably believed
to be subject to a substantial risk of imminent sexual abuse.
The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office shall thoroughly investigate
every allegation of sexual abuse and when warranted by evidence,
impose relative sanctions up to and including criminal prosecution.
Retaliatory measures against employees or inmates who report
incidents of sexual abuse shall not be tolerated by the Randolph
County Sheriff’s Office and shall result in disciplinary action
and/or criminal prosecution. Retaliatory measures include, but are
not limited to, coercion, threats of punishment, or any other
activities intended to discourage or prevent an employee or inmate
from reporting the sexual abuse.
This policy applies to all inmates and staff employed by the
Randolph County Sheriff's Office including volunteers and
independent contractors.
