NOTICE OF RANDOLPH COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH
The Randolph County Board of Health is committed to maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of its citizens. With the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Governor’s Stay at Home Order, and social distancing guidelines, the Board will live stream the May 11, 2020 Board of Health meeting on YouTube. Check www.randolphcountync.gov for the link at that time.
The public will not be in attendance at this meeting. However, citizens have the opportunity to present their comments prior to the meeting. Please direct comments to the board chair email address at firstname.lastname@example.org, send comments by mail to Randolph County Public Health, Attention: Board of Health, 2222-B S. Fayetteville St., Asheboro, NC 27205, or by phone at 336-318-6194. Comments will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on May 11th. Those comments will be read aloud during the scheduled public comment period of the meeting. Public comment rules will still apply as follows:
The public comment period will be limited to 15 minutes at the beginning of the meeting; if more time is required it will be at the discretion of the Board. Each speaker must give his/her name both orally and in writing before speaking. Speakers will be limited to 3 minutes. Comments are to be directed to the Board as a whole and not to one individual board member. Response, discussion or action concerning issues raised during the public input session will be at the discretion of the Board. Speakers will be courteous in their language and presentation. Speakers should not discuss matters which concern the candidacy of any person seeking public office or matters in current or anticipated litigation.
