Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

The EMS division has eight base locations across the county: 

• Archdale
• Asheboro
• Erect
• Liberty
• Ramseur
• Randleman
• Trinity
• Uwharrie

Paramedics and EMT's are based at these locations ready to respond to any emergency 24-hours per day.

Randolph County EMS is also supported by two franchised EMT-Intermediate ambulance services; Ash-Rand Rescue & EMS, Inc. and Piedmont Triad Ambulance and Rescue, Inc.  These private non-profit agencies respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, as well as handle most convalescent transports.
