Volunteer Services

Volunteers - individuals and groups - provide assistance to families referred by the Department of Social Services (DSS). Their efforts enable DSS to serve more families than could be served through traditional DSS programs. The volunteers save staff time and resources by providing a variety of services including:

  • Clerical Assistance in the Agency
  • Seniors and Families
  • Special Needs of Foster Children
  • Temporary Emergency Feeding Assistance Program
  • Transportation
