Veterans Services

Mission

To serve Randolph County veterans and their dependents, assuring that all VA claimants have consistent availability of qualified representation and assistance in obtaining benefits administered by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

The Veteran Service Office will be an “Appointment Only” for the following:

    Initial Claims

    Reopening Claims

    Veteran and/or Survivor Pension Claims

    Higher Level Review

    Board of Veteran Appeal Claims

    Review of New Medical Evidence

    Review of Denied Disability Claims

    CHAMPVA Application

Burial benefits, flag requests, headstones/markers, and request for Honor Guard.

This format allows our Veteran Service Officers the appropriate time, to thoroughly review these cases and everything needed to strengthen the claim; while also allowing privacy for their Veterans during the process.

The following services will continue as “Walk-In” until 4:30 pm and will be given by who is at the front desk or the next available staff member:

Status updates for claims and appeals only.

    MVR 33 A Endorsements

    NCDVA 9 Endorsements

    Hunting and Fishing License Endorsements

Requests for service treatment, personnel, and DD214 records.

Applications for financial hardship grants (Randolph County Veterans Council).

We are always willing to accommodate these procedures with notice.

Please note that any e-mails and voicemails will be returned within 48 hours.
