County Manager
Randolph County is a dynamic and diversified county of over 143,000 residents. Considered the geographic center of the state and often referred to as “the Heart of North Carolina” Randolph County includes the municipalities of Archdale, Asheboro, Franklinville, Liberty, Ramseur, Randleman, Seagrove, Staley, and Trinity.
Randolph County is filled with a rich history that is a blend of both agricultural and industrial development. Long term strategic planning has enabled our Board of County Commissioners to position Randolph County to take advantage of economic diversification opportunities, workforce development programs, and the chance to create quality jobs that can maintain and raise our citizen’s standard of living in the 21st Century.
It is my honor to serve as Randolph County Manager. The County Manager is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Randolph County Board of Commissioners. The County Manager’s duties include overseeing all County departments, representing the County in dealings with other governmental units and agencies, and overseeing programs and operations pursuant to the policies, ordinances, and directives adopted by the Board of County Commissioners. The County Manager is also responsible for recommending an annual county budget and providing all other management services necessary to assure the efficient and effective operation of Randolph County government.
