On October 30, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Prospect St., Archdale. The driver, who initially gave a false name, was correctly identified as Joseph Kyle Sullivan, whose license had been revoked and who had an outstanding order for arrest for a Probation Violation out of Randolph County. Pursuant to the arrest, Sullivan was searched. Heroin and paraphernalia were located.
Sullivan was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony possession of heroin, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor fictitious info to officer, and misdemeanor driving while license revoked. He was issued a $10,000 secured bond and a court date of October 31, 2023, in Randolph County District Court. He was also served the outstanding order for arrest and issued a $3,000 secured bond.
