Information Release
On April 29, 2024, the Invictus Task Force, with the assistance of the Kingston Pennsylvania Township Police Department, the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office, and the Archdale Police Department, concluded an investigation into the solicitation of a minor child by computer. As a result of the investigation, Bobby Craven Brown was arrested by the Invictus Task Force and charged with one (1) count of felony solicitation of a child by computer, two (2) counts felony attempt statutory rape of child under 15, two (2) counts attempt first degree statutory sex offense, one (1) count felony indecent liberties with a child, and two (2) counts felony attempted statutory sex offense with a child by adult.
Brown was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the listed charges. Brown was not issued a bond in the matter, and a first appearance was set for April 30, 2024, in Randolph County District Court. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the case agent, Homeland Security Task Force Officer Hargrove of the Liberty Police Department, at 336-622-9053.
