On May 17, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Hog Slide Rd., Sophia, in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, the victim provided information about the incident and Crime Scene Investigations responded to collect evidence. During the investigation, a suspect was developed.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, charges were sought on Bryan James Williams for felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after break/enter, and felony possession of stolen goods/property and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant.
Williams, currently confined in the Randolph County Detention Center was served his warrant on May 30, 2024. He was issued a $10,000 total secured bond. A first appearance was set for May 31, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
