On June 7, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to US Hwy 311, Archdale, in regards to a vehicle theft.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Interdiction Team – Urban Unit, charges were sought against John Wesley Johnson for felony possession stolen motor vehicle and felony possession stolen goods/property and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest.
Charges were also sought on Alicia Faith Lones for felony possession stolen motor vehicle, felony possession stolen goods/property, and felony obtain property by false pretense.
Charges were sought against Ashley Lynn Bowman for felony larceny of motor vehicle and felony possession stolen motor vehicle.
On June 14, 2024, Johnson and Lones were located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where they were served their outstanding warrants.
The magistrate issued Johnson a $75,000 secured bond plus EHA and Lones a $50,000 secured bond plus EHA. A first appearance was set for Johnson and Lones for June 17, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
On June 14, 2024, Bowman was located and arrested by Davidson County Sheriff’s Office. She was transported to the Davidson County Detention Center where the magistrate issued Bowman a $1,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for July 8, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
