On June 28, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Brady St. Ext, Ramseur, in reference to a vehicle theft. Following the investigation, charges were sought against Kaitlyn Nicole Caviness for felony possession of stolen motor vehicle and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods. The magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant.
On July 2, 2024, Caviness was apprehended by the Criminal Apprehension Team on Brady St. Ext., Ramseur. She was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where she was served he outstanding warrant. The magistrate issued a $5,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for July 8, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
