On September 3, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Electronic House Arrest (EHA) Officers were alerted that Jaylen Tylek Ledbetter’s EHA strap may have been tampered with, which violates his EHA conditions. The EHA Officers responded to the address to check and conduct a search. Ledbetter was located at his residence and had removed the ankle monitor. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center and taken before the magistrate where he was violated on his previous felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule VI controlled substance, misdemeanor carrying concealed gun charge and subsequently given a $75,000 secured bond with continued Electronic House Arrest.
Ledbetter has been on Randolph County Electronic House Arrest since May 24, 2024.
