On August 26, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Old Liberty Rd., Franklinville, in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, the victim provided information about the items missing.
During an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, it was determined that Christopher Dale Turner had pawned the items at a Greensboro pawn shop. Charges were sought or felony obtain property by false pretense, misdemeanor larceny, and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods/ property and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest.
On December 13, 2024, Turner was located in Guilford County, arrested, and transported to Guilford County Detention Center where he was served his warrant. No bond was issued and a first appearance was set for December 16, 2024, in Guilford County District Court.
