On April 4, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Ramseur Julian Rd. in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, an unoccupied vehicle was located. While searching the area on foot, a male was located hiding in a wooded area. He was identified as Brandon Lewis Dalton, the vehicle owner. Also while searching the area, an outbuilding was identified which had been broken into and items from the building were located along the roadway. Dalton was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony breaking and/or entering. He was issued a $2,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for April 5, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
