On April 6, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Hwy 62, Thomasville. She was identified as Michelle Lynn Hamby. While exiting the vehicle, paraphernalia was observed.
During a subsequent search, methamphetamine was located. Hamby was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued a $2,500 unsecured bond and a court date was set for April 28, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
