On April 14, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Chapsworth Dr., Trinity, in reference to a reported burglary. Upon arrival, the victims provided information, and the Crime Scene Investigations Detectives responded to collect evidence.
Following an investigation, charges were sought against Joshua Tyler Lawrence for felony second-degree burglary, felony larceny after break/enter, and felony possession of stolen goods/property and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest.
On April 16, 2025, Lawrence was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served his warrant. He was issued no bond and a first appearance was set for April 16, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
