On April 29, 2025, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Sealy Dr., and Surrett Dr., Archdale. The driver was identified as Bryan Christopher Shell.
During a subsequent search, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located. Shell was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor driving while license revoked -not impaired revoked. He was not issued a bond due to having pending charges. A first appearance was set for April 30, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
