On June 15, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Jordan Rd., Ramseur, in reference to a larceny. Upon reviewing the store video surveillance, Kevin Milton Udofa was identified as the person who stole items from the store without attempting to pay for them.
On June 16, 2025, Deputies responded to another business on Jordan Rd. reporting larceny with the offender matching the description of Udofa. While responding, Udofa was observed walking eastbound on Jordan Rd. and contact was made with him where he admitted to entering the business and stealing items. He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for second-degree trespassing and misdemeanor larceny. He was also served his warrant for arrest. He was issued no bond, and a first appearance was set for June 20, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
Following consultation with the District Attorney’s Office regarding the June 15th incident, felony charges were sought against Udofa for felony break/enter and felony larceny after break/enter. The magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest. Udofa, still confined, was served the warrant, and no bond was issued.
