On June 30, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotics Enforcement Team, along with NC Probation and Parole, searched a residence located on Green Glade Rd. in Sophia. During the search, Detectives located and seized Methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia.
As a result, Ricky Darren Wilson II was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in which he received a $15,000 secured bond. He was also served with an order for arrest for a felony probation violation and received an additional $8,000 secured bond. His first appearance is set for July 3, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
