
In June 2025, members of the Invictus Task Force initiated an investigation related to a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. During the investigation, James Timothy Adams was identified as a suspect.
On July 22, 2025, James Timothy Adams was charged with six (6) counts of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the Forsyth County Detention Center, where the magistrate issued a $200,000 secured bond and set a first appearance for July 23, 2025, in Forsyth County District Court. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Invictus Task Force representatives.
