On July 31, 2025, while patrolling the area of Andrew Hunter Rd. & Pleasant Cross Rd., Franklinville, deputies with the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office observed a suspicious vehicle.
The driver was identified as Justin Matthew Stiltner, who had a warrant for arrest for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. The passenger was identified as Justin Matthew Godfrey, who had two unserved orders for arrest for trespassing. Both were arrested.
During a subsequent search to arrest, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located. They were transported to the Randolph County Detention Center.
Godfrey: The magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He was issued no bond as he was out on pre-trial release. He was also served with his outstanding process and received a $4,000 secured bond.
Stiltner: The magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and set a bond of $5,000 secured. He was served with his outstanding processes and received an additional $5,000 secured bond.
A first appearance was set for both on August 1, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
