On July 4, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Lassiter Mill Rd., Asheboro, in reference to a larceny of two ATVs that had already occurred.
During an investigation by the Criminal Interdiction Team Urban Unit, suspects were developed.
Charges were sought against Alexander Calvin Davis and Daniel Adam Davis for felony breaking and/or entering, two counts of felony possession of stolen goods, two counts of felony larceny, and misdemeanor injury to personal property. The magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant.
On July 17, 2025, both were located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where they were served their warrants.
Daniel Davis was also charged with felony probation violation and issued a $52,500 secured bond, with a first appearance set for July 18, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
Alexander Davis was additionally charged with felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, resisting a public officer, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after illegal substances were located during his arrest. He was issued an $88,000 secured bond plus EHA, and a first appearance was set for July 18, 2025, in Randolph County District Court. He was also charged with felony probation violation and received no bond.
After further investigation into the burglary of an ATV on Cross Creek Rd. in Asheboro, Alexander Calvin Davis was identified as a suspect and charges were sought for felony breaking and/or entering, felony larceny, and felony possession of stolen goods. Already confined in the Randolph County Detention Center, Davis was served with his warrant and issued a $20,000 secured bond plus EHA, with a first appearance set for August 1, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
