On September 9, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Ferguson Rd., Ramseur, in reference to an agency assist with NC Probation Parole. During the search of the property, Probation Officers located a rifle and ammunition. Bowman is on probation, and one of the conditions was that he could not be around firearms.
Bowman was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of a firearm by a felon. He was issued a $5,000 secured bond. A first appearance was set for September 10, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
