On November 4, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Whites Chapel Rd., Staley, in reference to a stolen motorcycle.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Interdiction Team Urban Unit, suspects were developed and charges were sought against Randall Ray Burgess and Natasha Lynn Lowery for felony larceny of a motor vehicle and felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle. The magistrate found probable cause to issue warrants for their arrest.
On November 13, 2025, Burgess was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served his warrant for arrest. He did not receive a bond due to the Pre-Trial Integrity Act. A first appearance was set for November 14, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
On November 20, 2025, Lowery was located and arrested. During her arrest, methamphetamine was located. She was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where she was served her warrant for arrest, and additionally charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possess drug paraphernalia. She did not receive a bond due to the Pre-Trial Integrity Act. A first appearance was set for November 21, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
