In January 30, 2026, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to US Hwy 311, Archdale, regarding a reported 50-B protective order violation by Nathan Hedgecock, who had left prior to deputies' arrival.
Following the investigation and collection of evidence, charges were sought against Hedgecock for Felony Break/Enter to Terrorize, Misdemeanor Domestic Violence Protective Order Violation, Misdemeanor Domestic Criminal Trespass, and Misdemeanor Crime of Domestic Violence. The magistrate found probable cause and issued a warrant for arrest.
On February 5, 2026, Hedgecock was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served his warrant. The magistrate issued a $30,000 secured bond, and a first appearance was set for February 6, 2026, in Randolph County District Court.
