On July 9, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Pierce Meadow Rd., Denton. The driver was issued a warning citation for traffic related offenses. During a subsequent search, concealed narcotics were located in the possession of the passenger identified as Ladon Stella Keene.
During the search of the vehicle, marijuana and paraphernalia were located. The driver was also issued a citation for Possession of Marijuana up to 1/2 ounce and Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia.
Keene was placed under arrest for felony Possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for the above listed charges. She was issued a $10,000 unsecured bond and a first appearance was set for July 10, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
