On September 26, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Registry Detective was notified that Michael Delano Foster of Davidson County, a registered sex offender, had been on school grounds in Randolph County, which is against the law.
During the investigation, it was discovered that he had been on school grounds multiple times.
Following the investigation, charges were sought against Foster for four counts of sex offender on child premises and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant.
On October 5, 2023, Foster was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was taken before the magistrate for their unserved processes. He is currently under no bond awaiting a court appearance that was set for October 6, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
