On October 19, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Electronic House Arrest (EHA) Officers went to Michelle Renee Elvington’s residence for a random EHA visit. At the conclusion of the visit, Ms. Elvington was transported to the Adult Day Reporting Center for a drug test. She was unable to provide a sample for testing and was taken into custody for violation of EHA. She was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the violation and returned her bond to the original amount of $500,000 secure with the added condition of continued EHA.
She was placed on EHA on July 24, 2023, for felony trafficking of opium or Heroin, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
