On November 8, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Team assisted the NC Probation and Parole at the search of a residence of Otis Clayton Bowman. During the search, a firearm was located. It was seized and placed in evidence.
Charges were sought and the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of a firearm by a felon against Bowman. On November 13, 2023, Bowman turned himself in to have the warrant served. He was issued a $5,000 secured bond and a court date was set for November 27, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
