On January 4, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the area of Old Glenola Rd & Delwood Dr., Archdale. The driver was identified as Christopher Wayne Tate. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine was located.
Tate was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and fail to burn headlamps and issued a written promise to appear in Randolph County District Court on January 8, 2024.
