During the February session of the Randolph County Grand Jury, a True Bill of Indictment was issued on Rona Lee Brown as a result of an investigation conducted by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice Unit. During this investigation, approximately 59 grams of Methamphetamine was seized.
On April 25, 2022, Rona Lee Brown was apprehended by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division in Seagrove, NC, after a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle she was driving. She was actively wanted out of Randolph County on a True Bill of Indictment for charges of Felony Trafficking in Methamphetamine (2 Counts) and Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance. Brown was transported to Randolph County Detention Center and taken before the magistrate who issued a $60,000 secured bond. A court date has been scheduled for May 2, 2022 in Randolph County Superior Court.
