On April 27, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve orders for arrest on defendant Joshua McKenzie Allred when he fled from law enforcement. Allred was found hiding from deputies and arrested. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the Magistrate found probable cause for the charges of Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Misdemeanor Resisting Public Officer and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was also served with his outstanding Orders for Arrest for Failure to Appear on a felony and two misdemeanors. He received a total secured bond of $33,000 and has a first appearance set for April 28, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
