On July 15, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to an agency assist with NC Probation and Parole at the Randolph County Detention Center. During a search of Johnathan Bryan Henderson during the booking process, the Probation Officer located methamphetamine. The magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine and felony possession of a controlled substance inside prison/jail premises. The magistrate held Henderson with no bond and the first appearance was set for July 16, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
He was also served his felony probation violation.
