On August 16, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Muddy Creek Rd., Archdale, in reference to a fight. During the investigation, it was determined that Bridgett Regene Hester-Wilson had disposed of the victim's personal belongings from the residence. Hester-Wilson was arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony larceny and misdemeanor communicating threats. The magistrate issued a written promise to appear in Randolph County District Court on September 9, 2024.
