On September 28, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Pleasant Hill Rd., Seagrove, in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim with visible injuries. Randolph County EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital for evaluation.
Dylan Lee Odum was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony assault by strangulation and misdemeanor assault on a female. No bond was issued due to the charges being domestic in nature. A first appearance was set for September 30, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
