On May 19, 2022, a Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Deputy stopped to conduct a welfare check on subjects in a vehicle sitting stationary on the side of US Hwy 64 West. Upon obtaining identification of the subjects, deputies discovered that one occupant, Jessica Renee Bullins, had an outstanding order for arrest out of Moore County. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located and seized. She was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. The magistrate issued a $1,000 dollar secured bond for the order for arrest and a $2,000 unsecured bond for the new charges. A court date was set for June 13, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
