On December 27, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Stonehenge Rd., Thomasville, in reference to trespassing. Upon arrival, deputies located Eric William Blevins on the property and he attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended; however, he continued to resist. A handgun was located in his possession. Communications confirmed Blevins had multiple outstanding felony warrants and orders for arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of a firearm by a felon and misdemeanor resisting a public officer. He was issued no bond due on the new charges due to already being out on release for other pending charges. A first appearance was set for January 2, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
He was also served his outstanding processes out of Randolph, Guilford, and Alamance Counties.
