On April 28, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Electronic House Arrest Officers received notification that Jerry Allen Harlow, Jr. had removed his monitoring device. Deputies were able to locate the monitoring device along the roadway in the area of his registered address—Harlow Rd., Archdale. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate Harlow. He was placed on EHA on September 10, 2020, for multiple Felony Sex Offenses. An Order for Arrest was issued for Violation of Pretrial Conditions of Release/EHA and a Warrant was issued for Interfering with Electronic Monitoring Device. Later, orders for arrest were issued for three counts Failure to Appear on a Felony.
On May 22, 2022, a bondsman located Harlow in West Virginia and transported him back to the Randolph County Detention Center and surrendered his bond. He was also served the outstanding processes and the magistrate issued a $ $1,300,001 secured bond. A first appearance was set for May 23, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
