On March 26, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Electronic House Arrest (EHA) Officers conducted a routine compliance check on Gonzalo Pestana-Espinoza. He was transported to the Adult Day Reporting Center where he was drug-screened by certified staff testing positive for illegal substances. He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was violated on previous charges of felony possession of a stolen firearm, misdemeanor concealed gun, and misdemeanor resisting a public officer.
No bond was issued. A first appearance was set for March 27, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
This incident marks Pestana-Espinoza’s third violation.
