On June 1, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to N. Park Dr. in reference to a report of a wanted person in the area. Upon arrival, a female, later identified as Daniela Alejandra Chavez Fernandez, made contact with the deputies. While searching for the wanted subject in an outbuilding, Fernandez attempted to conceal items from the deputies. Upon investigation, the deputies found methamphetamine and paraphernalia in her Fernandez’s possession. The wanted person was not located on the property. Fernandez was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was given a $1,000 secure bond and a first appearance was set for June 3, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
