On September 16, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Stanley Rd., Archdale, in reference to a larceny. Upon arrival, deputies collected information from the victim.
Following an investigation by Patrol and Criminal Investigations, charges were sought against Kirby Elton Sessoms for felony obtain property by false pretense and felony larceny, and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for arrest.
On September 21, 2025, Sessoms, who was currently confined on unrelated charges, was served this warrant. He received a $5,000 secured bond, and his first appearance was set for September 22, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
