On June 11, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Zoo Parkway. The driver was identified as Brandon James Moore. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine, heroin and paraphernalia were located. Moore was placed under arrest and during transport to the Randolph County Detention Center, Moore felt sick and EMS responded for evaluation. He was transported to an area hospital for evaluation.
Charges were sought by an additional deputy and the magistrate found probable cause for the following charges: Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, Felony Possession Methamphetamine, Felony Maintain Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substance, two counts Misdemeanor Possession Drug Paraphernalia, and Misdemeanor Possession Marijuana Up to ½ oz.
Upon release, Moore was transported to the Detention Center where he was served his warrants and issued a $25,000 secured bond with a first appearance set for June 13, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
