On November 17, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Westchapel Rd., Asheboro, in reference to reported trespassing.
There is an active court order forbidding Vasco Glen Fernandez, Jr., from being within 1000 feet of this property at any time. Fernandez had been on the property and while on the property had taken pictures of the house. Fernandez was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for misdemeanor second-degree trespassing and misdemeanor violation of a court order. The magistrate issued no bond, due to the pre-trial integrity act. The first appearance was set for November 18, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
On November 18, 2025, following discussions with the District Attorney’s Office, it was determined that Fernandez had violated the conditions of his release by taking photographs while being within 1,000 feet of the property, as per the court order. The magistrate established probable cause for a further charge of felony stalking while violating a court order. Fernandez was served and no bond was granted, and a first appearance regarding the new charge was scheduled for November 19, 2025.
