On November 22, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Chisholm Rd., Ramseur, in reference to an assault. Information was collected and the assailant, identified as Christopher Ferando Gladden, had left the scene.
Later, Gladden returned and was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony assault by strangulation, felony intential child abuse - serious physical injury, and misdemeanor assault on a child under 12. Gladden was issued no bond.
Additionally, Gladden was served two orders for arrest for Failure to Appear out of Randolph County. He was issued a $24,000 total bond for those and is scheduled to appear in Randolph County District Court on November 24, 2025.
