On June 15, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Mechanic Road, Asheboro, in reference to larceny of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, the victim provided information that James Arthur Bowen-Sexton had taken a vehicle without permission from the victim. After collecting all the information, charges were sought on Bowen-Sexton for felony larceny of a motor vehicle, which the magistrate found probable cause and issued the warrant.
On June 15, 2022, Bowen- Sexton was located by the Asheboro Police Department in their jurisdiction. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served the outstanding warrant and issued a $3,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for June 17, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
