On February 13, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of WOW Rd., Randleman, regarding a home invasion, robbery and assault. Upon arrival, the victim reported two males had entered the residence, held her down and assaulted her with pepper spray. The male victim reported that he was awakened by a male subject standing over him and was assaulted. The subjects stole items from the residence and fled the scene in a white truck.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division, warrants were taken out against Christopher Matthew Lowery, Robert Christopher Passmore and Kristian Hope Staley for two counts first degree kidnapping, first degree burglary and robbery with dangerous weapon.
On June 13, 2022, the Randolph County Criminal Apprehension Team apprehended Lowery on Erect Rd., Bennett. He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served the warrants and two outstanding orders for arrest for failure to appear. Lowery was given a secured bond of $52,000 and a first appearance was set for June 14, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
On June 13, 2022, Passmore, who was confined in the Detention Center on another matter, was served his outstanding warrants. He was given a secured bond of $80,000 and a first appearance was set for June 14, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
Kristina Hope Staley is currently serving time in NCCI in Raleigh and will be served the outstanding warrants.
