On June 8, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received a report of larceny. The victims reported being contacted by the bank in regards to a Bryce Cicero Mason, who is known by the victims, attempting to cash a check from their account.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, the magistrate found probable cause to issue warrants for Mason’s arrest for felony forgery of endorsement, felony uttering forged instrument, felony identify theft and misdemeanor larceny.
On June 17, 2022, Mason was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served the outstanding warrants and issued a $2,500 secured bond. A first appearance was set for June 20, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
