On February 7, 2026, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on US Hwy 64 E., Ramseur. Following the investigation, Zachary Banks Todd was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where a magistrate found probable cause for Felony
Possession of Heroin and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He received no bond due to being on pretrial release for other charges. A first appearance was set for February 10, 2026, in Randolph County District Court.
Todd was also issued a citation for operating a vehicle with an obstructed windshield.
